Question Is there a way to get to USA permanent ?

HI

Wanted to move to Florida permanently but have no relatives and the idea of spending some 1/2 million in setting up a business to qualify , does somewhat spoil the idea of retiring there ?

Just wondered if any one had any good ideas to move there as its my ideal location .

Not another one... Hope you're not a Troll 'cos we get them at least 3x a week!

Check Pulaski's article (Click on Articles above).

And the answer is probably 'No' I'm afraid. Sorry.

PS: Try Majorca...

Hi Pete
Welcome to BE
Have you ever thought of marrying a US citizen?
Hang around your local US military base they sometimes have a few people willing to bring back a trophy. Dont go as a protester though that doesnt work and they sometimes arrest you.

Read this and you'll see that the answer is most likely NO...

...but don't let that stop you. If you're like the majority of people posting here for the first time, you'll now spend the next 100 posts telling us that we're wrong, that we're all a bunch of tossers, and that you'll make it to Disneyland if it's the last thing you do.

...you'll only be right about the tossers bit.

Interesting. The OP seems to think he has more to contribute to the US than the subject of his post here:

idiot if he thinks that. Doesn't realise probably the price hike in homes nearly parallel to the UK depending on where you are) which means less money to spend etc.
but I bet you lot that bought a gorgeous big home for under $200,000 years back are laughing all the way to the bank
(well you should, I would be if in your situation!)
