Thank You to the Guys on Here for the Gift Idea
I was stymied for a gift idea for Jim's for Father's Day. I know that we don't share birth children together but I also know that his son in Nova Scotia never remembers his father until and unless he needs something. What is that saying: "Out of Sight; Out of Mind"? And my girls do think of him as a Dad so they and I were thinking what to get the old man.
Since he is spending part of his two month vacation this summer going to NS to visit the son and grandson and then drive around New Brunswick, Ontario, and into Montreal to visit his family and then down to NY for a week or so before heading back to Canada to return the grandson, I thought: "Wow you guys have been talking about this GPS". I'm old fashioned and would never have thought of this. So yesterday I bought the GO system for him and he is thrilled with the gift.
So thanks for the posts on it and giving me the idea.

Must have missed the thread on GPS stuffs, we've had ours for 4 years now and take part in Geocaching which is treasure hunting with co-ordinates and clues. Take a look at www.geocaching.com. Its taken us to places even as close as 4 miles away that we never knew existed.
