O the shame.. I had a friend who worked at the DMV (well, husband of a friend). I'm sorry to say, he held up their reputation very well!

I had to change the address on my TX license recently. My H4 runs out in January, but luckily I was just within the 6 month rule. The lovely (confused) lady behind the counter tried to convince me that she needed a copy of my husband's work schedule... I then produced my EAD which really confused her..she just took multiple photocopies of my EAD, passport and visa..talk about overkill. :)
