My shipping is "free" on this instance so i've shove some more crap in there :)

I was talking to my parents today and come up with the great idea of buying food from tescos online, getting it delivered and she can shove it in a suitcase :D Now that's technology! But as Ray says.. no bacon :(

A few months ago we ended up buying and making a Birds Trifle - just because it was from "home" - I don't even like trifle!

Plus, over the road, is a Shop Rite that sells fresh sausages, bacon and black pudding. A few years ago, I'd have been really excited...now I'm sad to say it's just mildly interesting....

One of my best expat experience recently was in Stamford - watching England (before they lost :o ) in the World Cup at Tigins Irish pub and having a full English breakfast, complete with proper bacon and baked beans!

Re: Tesco

as much as i like Tesco's back in england, and british food - it doesnt really make much difference tescos (its tesco extra - not the supermarkets) coming to USA, as they probably wont stock much (if any) in the way of british food - why should they, they are catering to an american market, so it prob wont be much difference to the 7/11's or other convienience stores around here - shame though, would be nice to get some decent chocolate, walers crisps etc etc

I'm not sure where you are in PA but there's a Wegmans at Quaker Bridge, beside the Target.
