Termite protection...which is best?

Termite protection...which is best?
It's time to get a new termite treatment done on my house, so it's a good time to shop around.
What Termite treatments do you use? The Sentricon bait system, or the Termidor chemical barrier in the ground system? We've had Termidor up to now, which in my mind seems the better option than hoping the termites go for the baited wood than the wood in my house, but is it really? Any opinions or thoughts?

treating termites is no different than spraying weeds in your driveway, you just use a different chemical.
I'm not saying its a total waste of money but there are more reasonable and cost effective measures you can take

The first house we lived in, it was treated each year for $75, don't know if it was Termidor or something else. Wouldn't mind something like that again. Seems a lot better value than paying $350 each year to continue the guarantee with no additional treatments, just repairs paid.

Which would be what?

twice a year I get a general pest inspection/spraykills spiders/ants/carpenter bees/termites/cockroaches.........
job done

I personally know 2 exterminators, 1 who previously worked for orkin, the other for terminix who have given me excellent service over the last 4 years who BOTH left because they felt they could no longer live with themselves ripping people off
