Default Techy Help Needed - Malicious File?

Any techys out there can help? After posting I get taken to the post on the forum. At that point I get a box asking me if I want to Open or Save a file named bm_728x90.js, file type JScriptScriptFile, from media.expatinternet.com

Should I be concerned?

CB

Pretty sure it's not a virus since the site expatinternet.com is a real site that seems to be the main server that expats is hosted on...it's either just a server problem and will stop happening soon enough or your internet security settings may be set too high...could also be that java is not enabled. Have any internet settings been changed on your PC recently?

I think it's nothin to worry about, just something to do with pop-ups, I'd guess.

Its most likely part of the advertising that sponsors the site.

I thinkl you are right. It's stopped happening now, to be replaced by popups from this site. Think hubby was playing around with settings.

Thanks

If you've got pop ups from this site on your machine then you have spyware installed.

Download Spybot - Search and Destroy (It's free)
http://security.kolla.de/

Will sniff out any advertising trackers and spyware on other applications you have on your computer.
