I fear we've been round this particular blockquite a few times...
I expect being a nurse in this "market" sucks. Feel free to let off steam!

We pay most things online but it took ages to get used to after having everything on DD at home, I also can't believe they accept having to pay ATM charges and that on pay as you go cell phones your charged for incoming calls.
.
But then my real gripe is in the land of freedom and choice they let an insurance company tell them which doctor you can see, which pills you can take or how long you can stay in a hospital

The best is when a telephone operative without any medical training tells you that you do not *need* a particular treatment that has been prescribed by your 'Primary Care Physician'...

Food is the root of all evil, Ive been asked today while transferring a pt to ICU after we had to virtually resusitate him by his room mate who could see exactly what we were doing why we'd taken so long with his soda!!!

Finding food without high fructose corn syrup or meat without 11% added solution - almost impossible. Just why does bread need that in there?
Today is amost the final straw though. I have bills to pay. Easy, just go on line and pay. WRONG. The leccy bill has to be paid round the corner at the supermarket!! The bill for emptying the bins has to be paid by post or at the town hall. Phone bill - they have got to have debit card online payments? WRONG. Verizon will only take cheque/direct debit payments online. No good to me. I don't have any cheques. Wells Fargo wanted a dollar each for them. The last cheque I wrote in the UK was probably 10 years ago so I didn't think that I would need them. WRONG again. They love writing cheques over here especially for amounts of less than five dollars when they are in the queue in front of me in the supermarket.
I could go on but I do appreciate that this feeling of frustration is one that most of you reading this have already been through.
