Default Taxes,P60 and W2s!!

we're moving to AZ next year and while I'm being really patient with the I-864 in terms of filling it out, sending them my tax returns for the last 3 years is doing my head in! Unfortunately bad advice from an accountant here, told me i didnt earn enough to file,so for the last 2 years I've been a tax evader!!! Not funny now that i have to send 'em in.Can I just lump all 2 years into an envelope with my P60s and mail them out to the IRS? also the IRS wants my W2s-which we don't have here. arrrrrggggg!!!!

I believe the US Embassy in London has a very nice, helpful, IRS Department. Try contacting them for assistance, I have heard they are really good about helping USC's there file taxes.

Try google for their information.

If you weren't required to file because of low income, you're hardly a tax evader!

Well... you can file the returns now if it'll make you feel better, but it's probably easier to simply indicate that you weren't required to file.

Three years or two?

They don't want P-60s, according to other reports from here. And you don't have W-2s.

Get ahold of the IRS there in London; everyone says they're very helpful, and they are used to situations like yours.
