Tax free weekend?
Well apparently there's going to be one this weekend around Mass...just wondered if anyone knew what that was about and if they had anything similar in your states?
Was going to use the chance on a new couch and possibly a router, but oh well..that went out the window for 2/3 of a new exhaust *l*

we had one last weekend for clothing - it has some relation to back to school!

We had one last weekend here in Texas.
The law exempts most clothing and footwear priced under $100 from sales taxes. Accessories were not included. It wasn't widely advertised here, or if it was I didn't see it!

We had one in NM last week for back to school stuff. Apparently (according to the TV news ) the highest volume item was erasers. Because, you know, it's a real high tax dollar item.

Houston had one last weekend for the 'Back To School' campaign. It's nice, but reminds me of New Years Sales back home...people everywhere, nowhere to park and having to tolerate the proletariat in your personal space.
That aside, you can save a few shillings.
