Default Tax Accountant advice.

Since Britishexpats tax are not taking on new clients at the moment, could anyone advise me on a good Tax service to use?

I've been here since April and this will be my first tax season. I think I have a relatively uncomplicated situation, I have a UK rental income but no other sources of income overseas and no large amounts of assets. How practical is it to do this myself using something like TurboTax?

I'm located in the Bay Area, if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

Plenty of past threads going over having rental income, you could find them out and see what you think.

Turbotax seems to be a good option.

As for using a person, Peter Newton, has been recommended by a lot of people in the past, he's a BE member, based out of NY.

Peter Newton is "Britishexpats tax". I think the OP is saying that Peter is not currently taking on new clients and is looking for alternatives.

Thank you both for your help.

Ian is correct, Peter is full, so I'm looking for competent alternatives, preferably on recommendation.

Oh well, if that's the case, no idea.

I do know one or two people last year recommended someone in CA too, but have no idea who recommended whom, but you might have some luck if you did an advanced search?
