Talk about a blast from the past.
 

I've checked the real estate agents website that I sold my house through before I left, about once or twice a month since I arrived almost two years ago, just on the off chance that my place would go on the market again and I could see what changes the people who bought it made. Well I checked today and my place is for sale again although £15,000 more and with new wood flooring, they still have my old couch, Fridge, Bed and washing machine that I sold with the flat. They even kept most of my paint and tile jobs. Really took me back looking at that today.

Only 15k more? where was it - i would have expected it to have gone up loads more than that knowing what the market was like over the last 2 years - even if it has slowed recently!

Bet your Scottsdale des res has appreciated more. Think it's running at about 1% a day at the moment!

Actually, considering it was a half buy half rent flat through a housing association, 15,000 pounds in two years is pretty big. I bought it for 52,000, sold it for 70,000 and now it's on the market for 85,000. 33,000 pounds increase in 4 years for half a flat is pretty good imo.
