I know OH is reseaching in this field - there are different lines of research ongoing, I believe the genetic link with Type 1 is more a possible predispostion, Type 2 (later onset sugar-related) may have more of a genetic component, according to his findings.

Juvenile diabetes is genetic as far as I am aware....I have had many glucose intolerance tests over the years because my father had diabetes.

Thank you for sticking up for us big people.We're actually quite cuddly even at 6'-4",but the problem is a sweet tooth for big bags of chocolate buttons,smarties,turkish delights etc, sorry I digress but in some cases its genetic aswell.I know when and if we finally arrive I will have to be very careful indeed.
