I haven't seen any of it, but have seen the commercials.
I'm just wondering how the ladies on here would feel if someone knocked on your door and said.
"You are a Dog, Congratulations, you have been accepted as a contestant on our show"

I watched a small amount of the show last week. These women have the self asteem of a peanut. So it isnt much of a shock to them when they come calling.
They did manage to make someone who is in the army look like a porn star last week. So it isnt all bad.

The problem is they still 'think' they're a dog after the makeover. At least that's how the it looked on the first show. The one who didn't make it to the pagent looked sooooooo miserable when she saw herself for the first time. It looked like she was saying to herself " even after all this I'm still rubbish"

Today's scathing TV column had this to say about The Swan
"But there's a word for people who profit by taking advantage of other people's emotional weaknesses: Ugly."

Tuned into it late once and the one "reveal" we watched was too painful... we like the extreme makeover ones better. Or Monster House, whichever.

I've watched it. I think it's pretty sick and can't believe the docs take part in it.
