I stopped reading after he met Frank the "engineer" who fixes TVs. Frank wouldn't dare refer to himself an engineer as it's a protected profession, that had to be the writer. Britain is the only country in the world where anyone can call themselves an engineer. And as a chartered engineer (who had to do a 4 year degree and then 7 years of professional development) it winds me up.

That article is outragous!!! There's no such thing as a "friendly" American, I should know, I'm an American and I'm not friendly in the slightest.
