Superbowl Adverts
Just read this story about superbowl adverts. they just don't get it in America. I have just got back from the UK where the ADS are much funnier (wit and humor). Chris tarrant also runs a show each year showing the best ads around the world (very few, from the USA).
For the whole of the rest of the year, USA ads sre shite, completely, almost without exception. The reason the superbowl ads get any attention is ONLY because they are well produced. It wouldn't suprise me if these superbowl ones were produced by Brits

I find it ironic that most people seem to watch the Superbowl for the commercials rather than the actual game, doesn't say a lot for American Football does it.
It's also kind of ironic that for the second year in a row they've got a British act doing the half time show, considering that the game is typically American (comparisions to Rugby not withstanding), and most Brits don't even understand the game, much less like it.

I think, for the most part, Americans are so sick of advertisements anyway, that when they come on most people will mute them or turn to another channel. So even if they were the best 60 second comedy around, they wouldn't be watched.

Really I couldn't see what all the fuss was about when we all caught that glimpse of Janet's boob a couple of years ago. It didn't do anything for me.
