Default Study at UK university

Does anyone know what needs to be done for a UK Citizen resident and educated in the US to study at a university in the UK?

From a fees perspective, will they be regarded as international students ? If so are there any residency requirements that would need to be met to classify as a UK student?

Thanks.

If you have been resident in the UK for three years prior to starting University in the UK, you will be treated as a home student. If ntt, you will pay the higher fees.

Be aware though that if you want to do an undergraduate degree in the UK, most universities will require US educated students to do a foundation degree first due to the differences in the school systems in the US and the UK.

You might also want to search/post in the "Moving Back to the UK" forum on BE.

And if the original poster is only a green card holder, and not a US citizen, there may well be problems coming back to live in the US later on.
