Question Student Visa Question

I'm moving to live with my English boyfriend in America as a co-habiting partner but on an F-1 student visa because I want to study while I am out there with my boyfriend as my sponsor. He's there on a work visa. My question is does anyone think I will have trouble getting my visa when I have nothing to come back to at the present in the UK until we both move back when I finish my course? I know they are very strict on visa's post 9-11. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks a lot, Liz
