Default storage / removal company recommendation?

Hi everyone
Can anybody recommend a good removal company and a good storage company?
We live south east of the UK and are moving to Newport Beach CA
We are still considering selling a lot of our stuff (depending on the cost of shipping) as we don’t have very expensive furniture (so we don’t want to pay more than what they are worth) but we could also consider storage if its a good value. Also, how long did it took you to receive your stuff once shipped?
Thank you for your help!

If you search there are loads of threads on this subject. I've just got a quote from Doree Bonner. They do a full packing, door to door service if you want. The only extra is customs inspection/X-ray. They quoted £765 for 71 cubic feet plus insurance at 3%. That's from Oxfordshire to Missouri.
I picked them based on a few recommendations from searches.
2 things to add.
The whole process takes quite a while. I'm due in Missouri on Sept 20th. Doree Bonner said that would need everything very soon.
You must be in the US when everything arrives.

I don't think so. In fact I've seen lots of posts to say it's not worth taking any electrical goods with you. TVs seem fairly cheap at Walmart or Bestbuy.

Yeah, plenty of threads on the subject to CA.

Is it worth it, depends on if you're paying or not, how long you plan to be here and if the stuff is good quality. If you're paying and it's not good quality, don't bother.

It'll take anything usually from 10-16 weeks, but depends on who you use and how round about the shipping is and if you're sharing a container etc.

What ever you should check to see who is contracted on the US end of things and check them out against the scam moving website, to see if they're any good.

Don't bother with the tele, unless it's brand spanking new and a monster, it just won't be worth the shipping and certainly not worth the hassle...even though HDMI has made things less complicated.
