Steve Martin is a comic genius.
Unfortunately i think he is only good when he writes his own material now.
He wrote Roxanne based on the cd bergerac book and came up with one of the best performances.
His older stuff suited his quirky comedy. Now hollywood has forced him into "family" roles and hes crap.
