Default Stella Artois

Just a note to anyone living in Charleston, SC or visiting who needs a fix of Stella. I went out for my b.day last night and almost fell over (before starting drinking) when I saw they had Stella at "Rue de Jean" on John Street. Needless to say the celebration was a good one with lots of Stella imbibed!!

I see it everywhere. Grocery stores and bars. It's as common as an Essex girl

The only difference is a bottle of Stella is a little bit more expensive

Can't get it here in Indiana, Gawd knows what's written in the liquor law for this state
I normally pick some up at Jungle Jim's when I'm in Southern Ohio but that's a rare occasion.

... and another reason to drink for those living in SC is that the State has abolished the odd law where hard liquor was served in mini bottles...

Maybe the only extry in the state was left over from airliners?

Seems like selling the hard stuff in wee bottles would encourage binge drinking. Convenient shot-sized portions.

The Belgian Boyo-Beating Beer is gaining market share here as it figures out how to please the different state alcohol agencies.

It's also 'proper' Belgium Stella not brewed under license in the UK.

They have toilets too! Whoo hoo for SC.

Stella was let loose on the Carolinas about a year ago, it is available in Supermarkets and pubs just not in adundance yet. I am sure if Muswell Hill looked for it he could find in Supermarkets.

Now everyone stop these annoying posts of "we have it here in ......"

Its here, its beer - get used to it!

Apparently Texas did that too as we have it here now, 6 years after it was initially sold in the States.

Better late than never.
