State College, PA
I have an interview coming up with a company in State College, PA. I was wondering if anybody had an opinion on what the place is like?!

Re: State College, PA
All I know is that college students are only allowed by law to live in one part of town.
Never been there. Never care to.
Edit: Oh yeah, and Nittany Lions make the most pathetic roar you could imagine.

I think Sarah lives in State College? If so then she'll be able to give you the low down.
I live near Harrisburg I've never been to State College, but my OH says it's a college town (as other have said) and basically exists because of Penn State, it's pretty big, he reckons on a par with say Leicester, and is in the middle of nowhere. Not much help I know.

So don't keep me in suspense, what do you think of the place? I currently live in a university town so that doesn't worry me too much!

I've sent you a nice long PM detailing the delights of State College Pennsylvania. Obviously the biggest attraction is that I live there

No I was!
No longer did I want to be like a mexican wrestler with my face hidden by a colourful lycra mask!

4 yrs ago my daughter attended a 6 wk summer program at the Uni. She really enjoyed her time there but decided she wouldn't want to spend 4 yrs in State College. Pretty little town but nothing else for miles. She decided that it was too isolated for her. The highlight of the week was a trip to Wal-mart several miles away!
