I like the idea of a St George's day celebration, especially one that catches on in America.
Then the pubs can get all English beer in, serve sausage rolls and steak and kidney pies and I can do loads of gigs playing English music like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin ...

(I'm the USC) Why is/was flying the St. George's flag considered racist? DH and I always hang our St. George's flag on St. George's day. (Don't worry, we also fly the U.S. and the Union Jack flags at appropriate times as well.)

St Georges Day celebrations would be great, there would have to be kebabs, what with him being from some place Anatolian-ish, or at least his dad was.
