SSN Norfolk
 

Hello all,
Ben arrived about 2 weeks ago, and things are great! He drove down to the Norfolk INS office the second week he was here (on Tuesday, July 23) and after a few hours of waiting, was issued his temporary EAD card, yay! He then went around the corner to the Social Security office to apply for a number. They told him it would take a few weeks to get it. He called the 800 number a week later to see if they could give it to him over the phone, but no joy. Just wondering if anyone else is waiting for their SSN or if you've already gotten yours and if we should keep calling the 800#? Thanks for any info!
