Just an update in case anyone is interested.

Jim's social security card arrived yesterday. It is the same number as previously given him and this time they have removed the "work authorized by INS" from the card.

So one down, and one to go. Special thanks to Michael Young who kindly offered his assistance. Very much appreciated.
