hi,

i am currently undr adjustment of status as an RN,
i passed the nclex but don't have a social security number

can anyone shed light on how to go about this?

hiya, sure you just got to your local SS office and apply for one ...I took proof of ID like passport (will have a copy of your visa in it), and anything else that has your address on it, things like that...it was so long ago I cant remember what they asked for....but it was fairly straight forward...a couple of weeks later they sent it to me with no hassle! Im not sure if each state has a different process for these things but I doubt it...if you are worried you can always phone them and ask, but I dont think you will have any problems!
