So did I

I left straight after what shall be forevermore referred to as "The Big Jug Incident". It has left me scarred for life. My poor husband is now blind in one eye.

A map, directions and satnav and you still managed to get lost. Seems you're not so psychic after all

Just heard about that incident and Bored's homage to Nicholas Cage

You mean like Bush not reading the report "Osama bin Laden planning to fly jetliners into American buildings" pre-9/11?

Before 9/11 the Federal Emergency Management Agency listed the three most likely catastrophic disasters facing America: a terrorist attack on New York, a major earthquake in San Francisco and a hurricane strike on New Orleans. "The New Orleans hurricane scenario," The Houston Chronicle wrote in December 2001, "may be the deadliest of all." It described a potential catastrophe very much like the one now happening.

He did insist on standing slightly behind me which is never a nice angle. Be rest assured, it got worse after that.

Why do you feel that slightly behind is never a nice angle? I feel it does have its merits every now and again!

Surely it's not just me. This isn't about Katrina or FEMA or BUSH. This isn't about a comparison with the Tsunami. This isn't about racism.

This is about - THE IDIOTS Idiots who built a timebomb (New Orleans) under the sea. This is also about the IDIOTS (each Government) that did nothing to secure this town. Nature will always prevail. Reading these articles makes me mad, really mad.

If anyone considers re-building New Orleans without first securing it against a Category 10 hurricance or possible 50 ft surge (I know, the unheard of) then they will again be considered IDIOTS in my book.

I live in a house on a river. I can't even build a friggin tree house within a 100 year flood plain.................

Is it just me or is this really the point. CNN and Fox should stop saying this is all related to katrina. It's NOT, not anymore. Especially after reading these articles.
