space shuttle launch
 
:D Good to see that the space shuttle was succesfully launched this morning from Kennedy Space Center amazing viewing hope they all return safe from their mission.

Yep. Ran outside and saw the plume of smoke and bright light of the rocket right from my drive way. Cool. :cool:

Watched it with our 12 year old son this morning. We visited the Kennedy Space Center last Thursday so it made it all the more interesting for him, he couldn't get over the fact that he actually saw the launchpad only a few days ago!

I love it at Kennedy....I've gone a few time this year when family were over for a visit.......

I ran outside too and joined the neighbours hoping to see something but couldn't see anything from down here.
