Soooooo

12 month contract starts tomorrow.

Skype is working well for us.

Kidlet doesn't miss me, and I am surprisingly calm about the situation. And excited to be working in my profession again.

That's all.

:)

You're braver than me, I couldn't live away from home for so long. Hope it goes well for you:fingerscrossed: After the contract will it make it easier for you to find work at home?

You need to update your location with another >>;)

Re: Soooooo

I have a 12 month training contract in England. Rota pattern is such that I can be home every 7 weeks or so, on average. Eg I'll be back on 19 Aug til 30 Aug. I get about 7-8 weeks annual leave/vacation for the duration of the contract :)

Yes, it will somewhat help me get a job in the USA, but I'd actually see more of my family if I were working in the UK than in the USA due to work location, little vacation time etc.
