My old schoolfriend who lives in Sunnyvale , California has MAN UTD on his car!

I was going to get P155 0FF, but Mary Ann has put her dainty foot down on this idea.

Its pretty inexpensive here also. You can go to the DMV website and check if the plate you want is already taken. Not sure if all DMV sites have that option. I wanted UK2USA, but someone already has that in Arizona.

Mine says Seasidr - people round here think its because I live at the beach, only a brit would know it is because I support Blackpool. My front plate is the flag of St George, it seems only the english put a UJ on their car, scots put a flag of st Andrew, taffs put the welsh dragon and paddies put a tricolour or a red hand gang one on. I wanted to be proud to be English

Here's mine. I think it costs about $20 or $25 per year, I forget the exact amount.

Here in MD they cost about $50 I think to get your own plate. You have to write down three choices, so if one's already taken, they give you your second choice.

In DC one ime, I did see a Virginia plate with L1MEY...

On the other hand I saw the tag "RIA U.K!", with a St George's cross in the front tag holder a couple of days ago on I85 just outside Charlotte. Anyone here prepared to speak up and admit that they are driving a KIA?

Also, last summer I saw a kelly-green Mini, a proper one and right hand drive to boot! A clubman I think it was, also on I85 near Charlotte, carrying the tag "Mr Plod!". I presumed that the driver was British.
