Sold our UK house
Hi there,
We've been in the US for 6 years on a GC.
We are about to sell a rental property we owned in the UK. We haven't lived in it for 8 years and expect to make a profit from the sale.
I'm assuming I will be taxed on this by the US and not the UK.
Anyone know the % I will have to pay

23.8% Federal plus New York and 25% on recaptured depreciation.
