Hi All
Just to let you all know I have recived my ss number over the free phone, was told it was given 2 day's ago.
A total of 18 working day's, am happy with that
That was filed in the San Marcos ss office.

how long after you arrived in the states did you wait before applying for one?

I arrived in Houston on Thursday april 3rd, filled out the paper work for ss number on Monday april 7th. Hope that helps
