Social Security Number Question

My Wife and daughters got their Conditional Greens cards and took them down
to the SSA office to get their SS Cards, when we received them in the mail
the girls which are 8, say Valid for work only with INS Authorization. I
was under the impression that they would not have that on there if they had
their permanent residence cards??

Correct?? to have the Valid for Work with INS Authorization on them or to
not have it on them??

They should not have those legends on them. However they do have work permission in form of the green card. They and you can go back to the SSA Office and request a SS card w/o the legend.
