Landed in the Chi-town suburbs and stayed. It's where hubby is from, though I've told him this is my absolute last winter here.

Before that I lived and worked in France for just under 4 years. Half the time in and around Paris, then the rest in the beautiful south-west.

I just ended up here in Portland by accident/fate. Quite lucky really cos I seem to have found the only place in the world with no scary spiders, (only little ones, nothing like those british long leggedy hairy monsters that used to wake me up making that scritchy scratchy noise as they walked up the walls)

the city, just really boring, but then I didn't really have time to explore, but first impression and all that, just like St Anton, you'd expect it being a bit posh with the reputation, but the train station is a tiny pink dump, and the village is really tiny and nothing to it
