Most of the time nothing, sometimes a bag of "Hot" popcorn and a bottle of green tea from the little shop here in the building. Wednesdays are "wing day" in the cafeteria so every once in a while if I have a couple bucks in my wallet I'll get a few wings. If I'm really thinking ahead I bring in a loaf of bread and some lunchmeat. Lunch all week for a couple bucks. Some folks here go out every day. I don't know how they afford it, 5- 10$ a day adds up...

I usually bring sandwiches to eat at the communal sitting area type place on this corridor. However others tend to go out for lunch (I work at a university too - we tend to walk off-campus for lunch since it's a dry campus) and I'm sufficiently weak-willed that I often join them....the walk etc does me good....

I work ten minutes from home, so I go home and eat a nice home cooked lunch with Mrs Vern and our three year old daughter....it makes going back to work that much harder though....

mixed batch, sometimes take stuff in, sometimes pop out for a veggie sub (cos I really can't be ar$ed with all the meat options, and no im not a veggie ), or if we have clients in we pop next door and order a takeout (the joys of working next door to professional caterers )

Most people in my office go out and eat, personally I cannot eat a ton at lunch as I feel like doing bugger all afterwards....so a typical day is brokedown like this..

6.30am - oatmeal (tp of golden syrup) and tea
get to work at 8.30 2 cups of coffee
10.00am - chicken sandwhich on wheat & apple
noon - 1 grilled chicken breast and protein bar
3.00 - protein shake
5.00 banana
7.30 - steak and green veg
8.30 1/2 protein bar

a gallon of water a day it makes me piss like a racehorse all day so thats really annoying....

On average I take 3 sh!ts a day, cuz of that lot....

All eaten on the terrace by the koi carp pond in the sunshine..

I work for a KFC franchise and the office is situated in the same lot as one of the restaurants. We are entitled as a perk, to one free 2 piece meal a day which I rarely partake of because I've seen the nutritional value of that stuff. I am partial the odd small portion of popcorn chicken though . Oh and their honey mustard dip reminds me of salad cream.

I usually bring soup, sandwiches, fruit to work for lunch and eat at my desk before driving to Barnes and Noble or the Mall or Best Buy for window shopping. Occasionally I will decamp in B&N for an hour in one of their comfy chairs and the Hello and UK OK mags they stock. There is a Starbucks attached to the B&N and a couple times a week I treat myself to a latte.

If I can, I bully the hubbie into taking me for lunch.

Our office is actually in the middle of a shopping center! So we have lots of places to eat within walking distance, like 3 or 4 Sandwich places, bunch of Restaurants of all different types, a very nice Schnucks with a killer salad bar ( not to mention a "British food section") so I eat lunch out twice a week.

Usually I just have a home made Sandwich for lunch and read a book in the breakroom with a colleague. We have to block out days of our lives as the phone ladies just love to watch that and its chronic over acting.

Being on the road I always look for the best truckstop. Petro are up there ! ... On the other hand if I can get access to a family run diner I will.

Always either steak or gammon.......... no fast food unless it's Hardees.

Today I am working from home Which means I am now watching the Man U V Lille Champions League game on my 37" LCD TV and eating whatever takes my fancy from my fridge.
At half time I may take a stroll in the Santa Monica sunshine by the beach with my dogs.
