Default So I'm coming to Dallas on the 10th June

Tickets all booked and I'm excited and nervous! I am coming for a week to check a few areas out myself, I'm really hoping I like it

What's the weather like out there in June? Just so I know what to pack. I don't trust weather reports x

A damn sight hotter than London! 30+ degrees, chance of torrential thunderstorms. If you get caught in that storm, short of offshore survival gear there's not much you can wear for them anyway.

Ditto - it's likely to be hot, hot, hot!

You might need a cover up - cardi or similar for the air conditioned shops and restaurants which can feel quite cool when you step in from outside.

Also, the weather forecasts will tend to be more accurate that you might be used to in the UK - or at least that was my experience when we were in Dallas.

Bring an empty suitcase and instead go shopping. With the exchange rate you can do very well, or just buy one here to take back. Although it is a little down right now.

Light weight summer dresses, skirts, shorts etc... Sunglasses are a must, and a cardi as said above for some indoor areas.
