So any ideas how we get round this?

Just wanted to say that the hubbie got the job offer for definate today! Yipee!

Thanks to all who offered replies - i guess we have learned not to take things lying down, it's worth a bit of a fight!

In Texas, a company does not have to provide a reason for either hiring or dismissing a worker -- this is called "at-will employment.." If they DO however, then it can be challenged in court if the company basically admits discrimination.
