I caused a small problem at my kids school when they (my kids) wanted me to buy "Lunchables" for them for school lunches because their friends had them. I told them that their friends were being poisoned by their own parents and that lunchables would make them fat and hyperactive and that I cared about them more than that.
Of course, my kids told their friends "Your parents are trying to kill you, my Dad said so".

As late as the early 80s, one of our plants used to slaughter the cows on sight....they even had a rabbi bless whatever was necessary for the kosher products.

my DD did the same thing, she told her friends "my Momma said your parents are making you fat and Ugly"
and she wonders why I get weird looks..

Corn dogs, elephant ears, fried Coke, fried Twinkies and other delicious disgusting foods are best when purchased at small county fairs out in the boonies. Best to get them fresh, right after they are picked and not too green.

Well I was at work today with no lunch other than a peanut butter sandwich.
Feeling in need of a bit more I called at the supermarket (Longs) and had a look at the deli counter.
"Not had one of them before??? One Corndog please!"
What is that about? Can't say I'll be rushing back for another one. The corn was really claggy and the sausage was way salty. :-s
I had heard of them before but rather wish I hadn't tried one. Have I just had a particularly bad one or is that par for the course?
Anyone got suggestions for something a little nicer for next time?
