Have been hearing all about this on Radio Wales for several days (may move back there so have been trying to get a feel for local news, etc.). They're well-chuffed in the valleys, as they should be. Watched him being interviewed on BBCAmerica recently (Kumars, maybe? Can't remember bloody senile), still has a very down-to-earth air about him.

He really was What was funny is that the audience consisted of people of ALL ages. I had a young woman bopping away in front of me and people about 80 yrs old sitting by me. It was very weird!

Tom used to own a house in Weybridge in Surrey called Little Rhonda
He sold it for a few million to Harry Goodman ..who at the time owned Intasun travel..he then knocked the whole thing down and built a 5 million pound job.. shortly after Intasun went bust and 1000s lost their vacations ..
I always wondered if that house escaped the clutches of the creditors ..
