Question SIII Landy

Hi,

I have been desperately missing my SIII lighweight Landrover, now sitting in a barn in England (and I am sure she misses me too!). Does anyone know whether it is feasible to bring here over to Miami.

I had a quote on shipping which was OK, but do not know whether they would let her in. She is LHD and probably from 1974 from the (ex-military first registered '91)

Are there any good companies out there to clear the paperwork and get her registered over here.

If not does anyone know where I could find a good condition SIII for sale in Florida.

Cheers!

You've asked a very specific question and I'm not sure that you'll get the detailed advice you need. I'd go to google.com and find some specialist Land Rover owners' sites and approach them for advice - at very least they should be able to tell you if SIII's were ever imported.

For what it's worth I don't think that SIII's were ever approved for sale in the US, and as such it might be difficult, if not impossible, to get it registered in the US.
