When I was a kid, we always squeezed an orange onto our pancakes, plus a bit of sugar. They were great! :thumbsup:

Making crepes with sugar and jif lemon today - can't mess with tradition - can't even use a real lemon!!

I did English banana pancakes for breakfast today. Thanks to Englishmum for the heads up.
I skipped the lemon and sugar and went with Maple, but they were the thin eggy ones. Oh yes, thanks for the recipe link. I now know I need to buy scales, every recipe seems to go by volume here. |

Making thin savoury pancakes (crepes) - with sherry mushrooms and shrimp - my OHs favourite dinner followed by pancakes with lemon juice and sugar - yummy.
