Default short trip to New York

Hi all,

excuse me for butting in on your site, but can anyone give me some advice on must see places etc on long weekend visit to New York, possibly for a bit of Christmas shopping. An idea of a nice hotel would be most helpful.Many thanks.

Check out the New York website edition of the British-run magazine, "Time Out":

Also if you look at the travel section of the UK "Daily Telegraph" online there are loads of (archived) reports about hotels from budget to boutique to luxury hotels in NYC. You will probably need to register first:
