Shipping Items to Florida

I'm a fair way off from moving to Florida. Just got engaged to my Puerto Rican fiancee who lives in Orlando Florida. So just about to start the K1 Visa process. But wanted to look into shipping options now to work out costings and what stuff to sell etc before the time comes.

Is air cargo or sea freight the cheapest option or am I better with extra suitcases. I don't plan on taking any furniture. its mainly DVDs, Books, Collectables like Pop Figures, sealed action figures etc.

Also wanted to take my X Box One S, X Box and Sega Megadrive. will these work in the states? I was debating my blu-ray player too so I could play my British DVD's or are there any multi-region DVD players in the US?

Also are you able to ship over food and toiletries. Was hoping to stock up on Marmite, Bisto Best, Stuffing, salad cream and aldi's version of supernoodles and maybe some biscuits lol. I also wanted to take a load of feminine products as they are quite expensive in the US and imperial leather foamburst, which I haven't found a US alternative yet.

Any recommendations of companies and costings greatly appreciated.

Nikki

DVD players you can buy normally and just hack them, usually with a code entered via the remote. You can find the codes online, so search before you buy. When I got my region free blu-ray it had to be done with a chip and so costs more. I don't know if hackable blu-ray players are available yet. With dvds you just put them in and it plays, with blu-ray, at least my Sony, I have to select the region if I want to change it, just a button press on the remote.

For region free stuff I tend to buy from 220 Electronics, as a guide here is a link to one of their blu-ray players. https://www.220-electronics.com/sony...RoCxQgQAvD_BwE
