Default Shipping electrical goods

My PC has been with held by customs and are requesting more info (regulatory FCC, i think). It's a home build PC. Any body gone through similar delays? shippers have advised on sending it back to UK then re-shipping with completed paper work info regarding PC. As it is home built I have no idea what info to provide. Any takers?

I will be shipping all my UK electricals to US rather than sell them even though most wont work. I'd rather keep them in the basement than dispose them as I could use them in another country (when i leave the US). Should I anticipate any problems, esp with TV, video, DVD, etc)? US is the 3rd country i'm moving to and chances are i'll be on the move later.

PS. i'm not bothered with shipping costs.
