We've got our visa now we're trying to get things sorted for the move. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive international mover? WE'll be shipping a motorbike as well. Also, we've got a really great entertainment center and don't want to part with it. Does anyone know anything about getting a power adapter or a transformer???

Have you checked on the cost to ship and register the motorcycle? Unless it is very rare, it MAY be easier to sell it and buy another in the US. You may have to make modifications in order for it to pass US registration.

For example, headlights in the US cannot have an off switch. They must remain on whenever the bike is running. There are other differences I think.
