Hi all,

After 3 great years living in NYC my wife and I are heading back to the UK. Obviously we have to arrange shipment of our household goods back over. We are not shipping furniture so it's probably going to be 12 - 16 boxes of miscellaneous items.

I have arranged for quotes from a few companies but I was hoping to get some advice or recommendations from people in the forum. Any companies to go for or to avoid? Any general advice on arranging the shipment? Previously my company arranged the shipment for me but on this occasion I will be doing it myself.

If you go to the moving back to the UK section you can do a search there have been a lot of recommendations of different shipping companies and methods of sending back just a few boxes or a whole houseful.
