Default Scaling the C1 form for passport extension

Stupid question here. Just to annoy the hell out of technically savvy folks! Sorry :-)

I just printed out the C1 form to extend my British passport. It does say on the website to scale the paper size if one is not printing out on A4.

On my printer menu my page format is already letter and I couldn't find a paper size format on the form's pdf menu. So my print out ended up slightly cut on top and bottom though all the main info I am supposed to fill out is uncut and clearly visible.

1)Can I use my printout as is?
or
2)Can you tell this dummy how/where to scale?

Is it a PDF file. If so open in Abode Reader and on the print box select scale to fit.

Scale to fit, regardless of what the file format is, in this instance.

I found it! In the pdf's print menu - not the main menu of the pdf. I should have been more patient!!

Thank you! :-)

p.s. What's the difference between fit to printable area and shrink to printable area?

Shrink makes sure all the document gets put in the printable area. Fit I believe means the document is cropped to fit.
