HSBC bank to bank takes around 5 minutes as long the banks are open.
I think they do not transfer after 3pm UK time but you can set it up for the next day of business.

Hmm, same recommendations on 3 out of 5 posts, and your homepage points to the<snip> homepage........there wouldn't be any vested interests here, would there George?

Ps....2-4% for using a bank is not true in my experience. I can't talk for your company or Moneycorp, but first direct have beaten xe.com and ukforex every time I have had a quote. And as discussed earlier on thread,I have access to the money within 20-30 minutes. If Pulaskis explanation of why that happens is correct (and it does seem perfectly plausible) it also points to a lower creditworthiness assessment that some folk may not be comfortable with.

I understand what you're saying and why, but I don't agree. You are advertising your relatively unknown (at least on this forum) company by association.

Let's say I start an e-commerce company, Acme Inc. The next day, I post on internet forums saying "You should buy from Amazon or Acme Inc. [Who I just happen to work for]. They are the best options." Is that advertising? Well, yes, obviously.
