Running Business from a Rented House

Re: Running Business from a Rented House
That wouldn't be an issue at all, because FedEx and UPS send at least one van each through every neighborhood in suburbia every day anyway, so it's highly unlikely that would be noticed by anyone but the nosiest neighbor. But what about deliveries? How much and how often?

Re: Running Business from a Rented House
Don't worry about delivery of a handful of boxes per day, either. I am a heavy Internet shopper who goes to shopping malls maybe twice a year. I get packages every other day or so and have had weeks in which a package came every day. So long as the sender pays to deliver the packages to your address, it's the carrier's responsibility to deliver them to you. If you accept them at your door, it is not a problem. It would become a problem if, say, the apartment complex office customarily held packages for you. In that case you might think of renting a mail drop.

Re: Running Business from a Rented House
I think the OP was considering pallet/ container quantity deliveries as he was looking for a double garage sized storage space, presumably with the "product" being sold piecemeal to customers. I think we've established that the outward "pick up" side of the business isn't going to create insurmountable problems, but a tractor-trailer making palletised deliveries might. .... Though shipments of five boxes per day would imply large deliveries only a few times per year, perhaps every 2-3 months.
