I've known he was out of the inner circle for a while .... but I'm surprised to see the current administration allow such an outward admission of inner strife. I'm not surprised they waited until after the elections though.

Wellll actually I believe Rumsfeld has always said the equivalent of serving at Bush's pleasure.

I guess Bush finally ran out of pleasure.

Don't know anything about him, except that he was a CIA guy in the 90s, and then became president of Texas A&M. He will need to be confirmed by the Senate, so no doubt the Dems will give him a grilling and we'll learn more about him.
