Re: Robinsons International Movers Terrible & Very Upsetting Service
You must have read my mind I just sent another email asking they correct this matter ASAP or I would like the MD's email.
I just cannot understand when a company admits liability, say they agree to pay the insurance excess (soon I will be late to claim at this rate) then completely ignore my emails making them seem a much worse company than originally thought
Thanks for the advice..

Aye, but the BBB is pretty toothless though and they'd only be US contractors this end.

You could get in touch with the Citizens Advice Bureau in the area you moved from. They might be able to point you in the right direction to put the complaint further up the food chain. Is there an organisation the the movers are a member of that you could get in touch with? Good luck.

A few years ago I got good advice from CAB on how to proceed with a small claims case. They said there was a procedure which must be followed before actually going to court (I don't remember how many letters one needed to write until the "letter before action"). Of course, this is only an option if the OP moves back to the UK.
By the way, I used Robinsons years ago when I moved across the UK, and would probably have used them again in the future if I hadn't come across this thread.

They are in the UK hopefully they will do the right thing one day.. I just cannot understand why a company who admits fault then causes all this extra stress

Claiming against shippers can be tough unless you have before and after photos.

They know there was no damage as if there had of been they would have marked it on the packing sheet. I took photos when the delivery guys were here and they confirmed that it was very damaged
